Three founders

Three Founders is seeking an experienced and highly motivated marketer to join their display and native advertising team as a Media Buyer.  

 

The Media Buyer will be responsible for acquiring new customers through display and programmatic media channels.  This will include but is not limited to Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Yahoo Gemini, Outbrain, Taboola, and direct media buys. 

 

The Media Buyer will be responsible for end-to end campaign execution on the channels they are assigned.  This includes managing billing, pixel setups, tracking, building campaigns, optimizing campaigns, reporting results to internal stakeholders, and maintaining relationships with network reps.  

 

The Media Buyer should have a strong understanding on how to optimize pages and funnels to improve the performance of their campaigns. They will not be exclusively responsible for building their own pages, but a key function of the role is working with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve the best results. This specifically coordinating with other functional teams within Agora Financial, specifically the, production team, copywriting team, and web team to optimize our pages. 

 

The  Media Buyer will also be given the opportunity to participate in a generous incentive program with clear and measurable goals. And when goals are surpassed they up the incentive! This means that you're essentially given an opportunity to dictate your own annual income.

Responsibilities

  • Assigned networks to own, and will be responsible for full end-to-end execution of these campaigns from strategy, through execution and ongoing optimization.
  • Manage the full execution of marketing campaigns across various programmatic channels and display networks (Yahoo, Google, Facebook, etc.) and identify the best strategies to maximize scale and minimize acquisition cost. 
  • Actively manage campaigns by optimizing bidding, budgets, targeting, and ads to ensure KPI delivery and maximize scale. This includes testing hundreds of ads and targeting types.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with ad networks, publishers, other media partners. 
  • Monitor all campaign performance and manage team priorities by revenue opportunity. 
  • Analyze campaign performance data as well as post-transaction customer monetization data to adjust strategy and maximize results for each display network and campaign. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to set priorities, manage expectations, and maximize performance of all display campaigns. 
  • Coordinate with internal email media buyers and affiliate managers to share learnings across all channels. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with managing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • 2+ years managing self-serve advertising campaigns (Adwords, Facebook, Yahoo/Bing, etc.).  
  • Comprehensive understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem.  
  • Understanding of how marketing impacts other units of the business and how those same units impact marketing. 
  • Extremely comfortable with programmatic media buying campaigns.
  • Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and an ability to understand and discuss new technical concepts.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently is a must!  
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions and use sound judgment.  
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and data analyzation.
  • Comfortable making quick decisions based on the results of these data analysis activities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. 
  • Most importantly: The unrelenting desire to acquire new customers and meet aggressive KPIs
