Money Map Press is looking for a Business Analyst to bring organization and discipline to a portfolio of software development projects using Scrum methodology. They are searching for a passionate, smart, highly-focused, dedicated team player who is looking to take their career to the next level. If you’re right for this position, you’ll make learning our systems and processes a top priority, and make delivering their projects on-time and under budget your mission, all while communicating frequently and clearly with stakeholders.

  • Communicate important information to Product Owners and Project Stakeholders.
  • As project deliverables are completed ensure delivery teams are given documentation and expectations.
  • Hold Product Owners accountable for deliverables, ensuring that Stakeholder expectations and results are properly communicated.
  • Ensure all project documentation, meeting notes and timelines are documented in Confluence.
  • Organize and facilitate recurring meetings for Product Owner.
  • Write requirements and user stories needed for all requests.
  • Crunch numbers and forecast complex timelines, account for churn. Present in weekly report to Product Owner.
  • Be ready to report on project status formally and on-the-fly.
  • Provide Product Owner and eCommerce Director with a weekly report of in-progress projects with statuses.
  • Generate and update requirements, priority, business impact and recommended start dates for in-queue projects.

  • 30 days: Awareness of all open projects assigned to Product Owner. Have basic understanding of reporting needs for each project.
  • 60 days: Maintain documentation and meeting notes for project deliverables. Assist Product Owner in writing requirements and use cases. Collect project impact stats at the end of each project. 
  • 90 days: Full ownership of maintaining project backlogs. Guide request process from conception to release under direction from Product Owner. Communicate and plan delivery of requests with Product Owner and delivery teams in weekly team meetings.
  • 180 days: Facilitate work done between request and delivery teams. Responsible for making sure request and delivery teams meet the expectations of Product Owner. 

365 days: Advise, organize, and plan the product strategy logistics. Oversee the development process leading up to the release date and define all post-deployment tasks needed to complete each request. Establish repeatable processes to keep pulse on closed projects
